DC archdiocese silent on Pelosi Communion ban, e mail says media requests ‘might be unnoticed’

The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Washington, D.C., mistakenly emailed a reporter searching for touch upon its place in regards to the San Francisco archbishop’s choice to bar House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., from receiving Holy Communion because of her stance on abortion after Pelosi reportedly took Communion in D.C. on Sunday.

When The Washington Examiner reached out to the archdiocese for remark, the opening gained an e mail mentioning that media requests at the topic “might be unnoticed.”

“Just sharing so that you can know what is available in,” the e-mail mentioned. “Email since Saturday, after I final checked the comms inbox has simply been a few random folks short of to inform the Cardinal to convey down the hammer on Pelosi. Aside from Jack Jenkins at RNS, that is the one new media inquiry. It might be unnoticed, too.”
