Alex Cooper unveils her big career move
Alex Cooper, podcaster and host, recently opened up about her 2024 journey, hinting at the two dream guests she is eyeing for the Call Her Daddy podcast.
While giving an interview to People magazine, the 30-year-old podcaster articulated by saying, “We did so many live events — I sold out two live tours — we have thrown parties, we have merchandise, we have people in our network that have successful shows, we’re doing television, we’re doing film.”
Cooper, who recently launched her new Unwell Hydration beverage line, added, “I’m like, ‘How do I sleep?’ I don’t know.”
Despite achieving a lot in 2024, Cooper stated that her business work is what she is most proud of.
“I’m the most proud of just the building of the company, because it is a lot and a lot of work. And there’s a lot of hours that go into it, but I love it so much,” she explained.
Moving forward, Cooper talked about her famous podcast and her The Unwell Network, quipping, “I started Call Her Daddy with the hope of connecting with people and telling my stories to hopefully make other women feel seen and heard and feel like what they were going through wasn’t crazy or insane.”
“And then when I started Unwell, it was just an extension of that, just trying to bring more Gen Z voices into the network to highlight what everyone is going through and how unwell we all are—and how life is not perfect,” she remarked.
Now, in 2025, Cooper’s Call Her Daddy podcast will move from Spotify to SiriusXM, and according to reports from several outlets, the deal is reportedly worth over $100 million.
Cooper mentioned in a statement, saying, “I am beyond excited to work with SiriusXM.”
“The Daddy Gang will always be my top priority, and with SiriusXM we will continue to find new ways to evolve and provide my listeners the best experience. The Daddy Gang wants more, so we’re getting ready to give them more … I can’t wait for this new chapter to begin,” she concluded.
