Ariana Grande has reacted to being nominated for Golden Globes alongside Selena Gomez and Miley Cyrus, with whom she grew up sharing limelight as child stars.
Grande, who secured her first Golden Globe nominees for Jon M. Chu directional movie Wicked, is competing with both Disney stars in the same category.
The actress, who has been nominated for her track Beautiful That Way, expressed to Entertainment Tonight that it’s “incredibly special”.
“I love those girls and to grow up with the world watching and then to have your work be recognized in this way,” the Don’t Look Up actress continued.
“It makes me so happy. I love those girls so much; I’ve always loved their work and just to see them grow is so beautiful,” Grande added.
The actress, who played the role as Glinda in the musical adoption, also addressed her decision not to tour in 2025.
Ariana Grande told Variety that “music will always be a part of [her] life”, however, she’s more focused on continuing what she started with Wicked going into the new year.
