Prince Harry takes big stride in Hollywood as next Tom Cruise: ‘Hired’
Prince Harry could be rivalling his own wife Meghan Markle in Hollywood as a major offer is waiting for him after a bold move on his part.
Hollywood A-lister Tom Cruise is known for his terrifying stunts which somehow always have something to do with being mid-air. He is known for flying planes and helicopters, a skill also shared by Prince Harry.
The Duke of Sussex caused quite the buzz as he surprised audiences with his acting chops during The Late Show by Stephen Colbert. During a skit as the ‘Prince of Christmas’ on the show, King Charles’s son found received a standing ovation as he stepped onto the stage.
If the audience wasn’t already in love with the prince, they were soon wooed by the blatant digs at not only at the current US President Donald Trump and also the media frenzy surrounding his status as the member of the British royal family.
In good humour, Harry said that he would “do anything” to be part of the Christmas movie as Colbert advised him how to “land a role”. Harry described his skill set, listing that he could fly a helicopter and ride horses.
In a twist of events, Hallmark responded to the ‘audition tape’ and publicly made an offer to the Duke.
“Prince Harry, how did you know we were looking for a horse-riding helicopter-flying American Hallmark Prince? No audition needed, you’re hired!”
The whole event had been in good jest and so was the response from the greeting card company, known for its festive and Christmas special movies.
Even though Harry may not be appearing in any Hollywood movie any time soon like the Mission Impossible star, he did earn praises for his humble and jolly appearance contrary to what the media usually reports. The comment section was full of adoration.
