Prince Harry’s BBC interview has sparked an opinion piece that calls him an “idiot manchild” who many thought “couldn’t sink any lower”.
This barrage of backlash comes via Ms Carole Malone, in a piece she penned for Express UK following Prince Harry’s BBC interview.
In her eyes, the Duke has been exhibiting shocking behavior, one where he “is 40 years old but STILL he’s throwing his toys out of the pram bleating and whining that the Establishment and his family is out to stitch him up.”
“Will he never learn?” she even wondered too before adding “because just when you think this idiot manchild couldn’t sink any lower he does exactly that”.
For those unversed, it was this comment to the BBC by Prince Harry that ignited her fury, “want to reconcile with him because I don’t know how long he’s got left. But he won’t speak to me.”
“How damn well dare he suggest his father might die before he gets to see him”, she accused the Duke.
“Like the pain would be all about him and not his father. How dare he open the door to suggestions that King Charles’s cancer could be so serious that he ‘might not have long left’.”
Especially when “he said it not out of any concern for his father but because he wants us to feel sorry for HIM.”
She even referenced the point about his death at one point and said, “From the minute the King’s cancer was diagnosed and throughout his treatment no-one – not the royals themselves, not Buckingham Palace, not the media – have ever suggested he might die because it’s just not something that should be speculated about on a public platform.”
She concluded at this point by saying, “we all have too much respect for the King to do that. Yet Harry somehow thinks he can raise the spectre of it so that we will feel sorry for HIM – the son so cruelly abandoned by the father he loves.”
