Prince William records emotional message for beloved royal

Prince William returned to the spotlight with an emotional video message following Princess Kate’s major milestone.

On June 29, the Prince of Wales appeared in a video tribute for her late grandmother Queen Elizabeth II, sharing the ‘fondest memories’ with royal fans.

He shared, “Whilst I had the privilege to know the late Queen better than most, some of my fondest memories of my grandmother are from here in Windsor.

I remember many a quiet afternoon heaving tea with her and my grandfather at the castle, chatting, sharing stories and seeing how completely at ease she was here, surrounded by family and her much-loved dogs and heroes.”

William confessed that his love for teatime was passed to him by the late Queen. He also delighted viewers by sharing the rare sight of his granny, who used to ride her horses freely in the Great Park when she was away from official engagements.

“These moments with my grandmother are ones I’ll always hold dear,” the future King concluded.

It is important to note that Prince William’s video, in which he honoured the Queen, was shared on the Cabinet Office’s official Instagram page.

As per the team, “The Queen Elizabeth Digital Memorial is marking a significant milestone today with the launch of a new collection of archive content and records, including memories from those who knew her and the wider public.”

They asked people to join Prince William and share their memories of Queen Elizabeth on their website.

William made an unexpected appearance on social media after the Princess of Wales completed the National Three Peaks Challenge for cancer awareness.
