Reese Witherspoon, Oliver Haarmann spark cohabitation rumors in NYC

Reese Witherspoon and her boyfriend, financier Oliver Haarmann, may be taking their relationship to the next level after 10 months of dating, as the couple was recently spotted touring a luxury apartment in New York City.

According to Page Six, the pair visited a lavish 3,200-square-foot, three-bedroom, 4.5-bath residence twice at Robert A.M.

Stern’s ultra-exclusive 14-unit building, priced at $13 million.

The potential move appears to be motivated by family priorities, as one of Witherspoon’s children is currently attending NYU.

“They are looking in the area because [one of her kids] is attending NYU and Reese wants to be close,” the insider said, noting that the couple appeared “sweet and affectionate” during both viewings.

While the Legally Blonde actress primarily resides in Nashville, and also owns a property in Los Angeles where her production company Hello Sunshine is based, Haarmann is headquartered in New York, where he runs his private equity firm, Searchlight Capital Partners.

The couple has been managing a long-distance relationship, with Witherspoon frequently traveling between cities to spend time together.

Their romance began shortly after Witherspoon’s divorce from talent agent Jim Toth in March 2023, with whom she shares a 12-year-old son, Tennessee.

She also shares two older children, Ava and Deacon, with former husband Ryan Phillippe.

As per Daily Mail, the actress said that she’s doing well and enjoying her relationship.

In regards to this, a source claimed, “She’s having fun with Oliver. He’s spending time with her kids too. Reese loves that he’s a businessman and not into Hollywood.”

Haarmann, a Harvard graduate and former KKR partner, was previously married and has two children. He is estimated to be worth $440 million, as per the outlet.

Though initially described as “just friends” last year, the couple has since been seen at several public events together, including a dinner with Witherspoon’s son and a gathering for luxury book publisher Assouline.

Witherspoon currently stars in The Morning Show on Apple TV+, and has been open about navigating life post-divorce.

In a recent interview with Harper’s Bazaar, she emphasized her desire to share personal experiences authentically, saying, “All I can do is be my most honest, forthright self and be vulnerable.”
