Taylor Swift celebrates 35th birthday with Eras-themed party
Taylor Swift just threw an iconic birthday party, seemingly raising a toast to her Eras Tour success.
The Grammy-winner rang into her 35th birthday with an Eras-themed party, where her guests showed up in familiar looks from the highest-grossing tour of all time.
Brittany Mahomes, co-founder of a professional women’s soccer team Kansas City Current, shared some behind-the-scene pictures from Swift’s recent celebration on Instagram Wednesday.
Brittany, 29, went for a shimmering silver fringe mini dress with knee-high boots to pay homage to Swift’s Fearless album while her husband-footballer, Patrick Mahomes, donned a suit reminiscent of the I Can Do It with a Broken Heart costume change skit from Swift’s Eras Tour.
Meanwhile, Swift dressed up in a black dress and went for her signature red lipstick with her hair pulled back.
The singer posed with Brittany along with Chiefs WAG Lyndsay Bell who rocked a Lover-esque bright dazzling pink ensemble.
The group photos also featured Swift’s friend Ashley Avignone donning a snake around her neck a la reputation.
Other guests also stayed true to the theme with feather boas and colourful clothes representing the singer’s different albums.
Friendship bracelets and lit-up bracelets scattered on a table were another sweet nod to the Eras Tour.
The 14-time Grammy winner concluded her global, record-breaking tour with a final show on December 8 at BC Place in Vancouver.
Her 149-show Eras Tour earned over $2 billion in ticket sales, per New York Times.
At one point during her last performance, fans sang “Happy Birthday” to the star in honour of her then-upcoming big day.
