Dry days don’t have to disrupt your home bar. From premium vodkas and whiskies to artisanal tequila and feni, here’s a curated list of spirits worth stocking ahead of the ban.
Happy Republic Day 2026 Wishes: India will celebrate its 77th Republic Day on January 26, 2026.
Dry days may pause purchases, but they don’t have to disrupt your home bar. They’re a timely cue to plan ahead and stock spirits that suit multiple occasions, easy to enjoy neat, versatile enough for cocktails, and well-crafted to hold their character once opened.
From refined whiskies and clean, ingredient-led vodkas to expressive tequilas, choosing thoughtfully before a dry day ensures you’re prepared for everything from relaxed evenings to post-ban celebrations. Smart stocking isn’t about excess; it’s about having the right bottles ready when the moment calls.
Cashmir Vodka
India’s first premium small-batch organic craft vodka, Cashmir has quickly emerged as a symbol of understated sophistication. Crafted from Sona Moti, a rare, 2,000-year-old organic heritage winter wheat painstakingly revived after near extinction, this non-GMO, non-hybrid grain, known as the “Golden Pearl,” is combined with pristine Himalayan glacial water from the valleys of Kashmir to create a vodka of exceptional purity and character. Distilled seven times and precision-filtered five times, Cashmir delivers a velvety texture and a remarkably clean finish. Inspired by the untouched serenity of the Kashmir Valley, it is not just a spirit but a story of heritage, revival, and craftsmanship, one that has now been recognised on the world stage.

YELLO Designer Whisky
YELLO is a new blended whisky from ABD Maestro, the premium spirits arm of Allied Blenders & Distillers, co-founded by Ranveer Singh as creative partner. The blend brings together Scotch malts from Speyside and the Highlands, matured in ex-bourbon oak, with Indian malt whiskies. The result is a smooth, approachable whisky with familiar notes of vanilla, caramel, and oak, designed to work comfortably over ice or in highballs. The “designer” identity is most evident in the packaging, a bright, contemporary bottle with a cut-out “whisky window” that sets it apart from traditional blends and signals its appeal to a younger, style-conscious audience.
