As a long-time Enrique Iglesias fan, I was ecstatic when I heard he was finally performing in Mumbai. Naturally, I didn’t waste a moment before grabbing my tickets! Walking into the venue that night, surrounded by thousands of fans who felt just like me, I was ready to relive my teenage years. From Be With You to Bailando, Enrique’s songs have been the soundtrack to so many memories, and seeing him perform them live felt like I had been teleported back to the 2000s.
The opening acts by Progressive Brothers and Jonita Gandhi perfectly set the tone for the night, mesmerizing the crowd with their high-energy performances. Finally, the wait came to an end as Enrique Iglesias walked onto the stage and opened the show on an explosive note with Súbeme La Radio, immediately sending fans into a frenzy.
Dressed casually in an all-black ensemble with his trademark cap, Enrique instantly connected with his diverse audience, greeting them warmly. He performed a string of his greatest hits, including Me Pasé, El Perdón, Cuando Me Enamoro, I Like How It Feels, Bailando, Tired Of Being Sorry, Ring My Bells, Takin’ Back My Love, Tonight (I’m Lovin’ You), Escape, Freak, Chasing The Sun, Be With You, Heartbeat, Duele el Corazón, Bailamos, and Sweet Dreams, each met with thunderous applause and deafening cheers.
For his performance of Hero, Enrique glided to the center of the venue, where 30,000 fans sang every word in unison. For those of us in the crowd on Day 2, it was an emotional experience especially for fans who grew up with his music. His performance reignited old memories and proved that his global charm remains unmatched.
The final song of the night, I Like It, was truly unforgettable. Towards the end, hundreds of white balloons emblazoned with his initials (EI) cascaded through the venue amid a spectacular fireworks display, leaving the audience in awe. Enrique folded his hands, said “Namaste,” and let the crowd carry the chorus. In a standout moment, he even stepped off the stage to greet a few fortunate fans near the barricade.
Celebrities Attend Enrique Iglesias’ Concert
The concert was a star-studded affair, with several Bollywood celebrities in attendance. While Malaika Arora, Vidya Balan, Rakul Preet Singh, Jackky Bhagnani, Sonal Chauhan, Rubina Dilaik, Abhinav Shukla, and Mandana Karimi were spotted on Day 1, stars such as Rajat Bedi, Ridhima Pandit, Nyrraa Banerji, Aahana Kumra and many others attended the second day’s show.
About Enrique Iglesias’ Mumbai Concert
After a 13-year hiatus from Indian shores, Enrique Iglesias made a triumphant return to Mumbai, captivating over 25,000 ecstatic fans on Day 1 (October 29, 2025) and 30,000 fans on Day 2 (October 30, 2025) of his largest-ever two-day concert produced by EVA Live. Held at the MMRDA Grounds, the event featured a high-energy, 90-minute set comprising 19 chart-topping hits and fan favourites spanning his illustrious career — marking his debut performance in Mumbai.
The sold-out event represented Iglesias’ third visit to India, following performances in 2004 and 2012.
