The 2024 FIDE World Championship final is set to take place from November 25 to December 13, at Singapore’s Equarius Hotel in Resorts World Sentosa. The games will start at 2.30 PM IST and follow a 14-game classical format.

The thrilling contest will feature India’s rising star Gukesh Dommaraju (popularly known as D Gukesh) and the reigning champion from China, Ding Liren. If the 18-year-old Indian chess prodigy manages to defeat the experienced grandmaster, he will etch his name in history as the youngest-ever undisputed world champion.

Ding Liren vs D Gukesh: Head-to-Head Stat

Due to the 14 years age gap, Gukesh and Ding Liren have only faced each other on three occasions in classical chess, with a total score of 2.5 to 0.5 for the Chinese Grandmaster, who defeated his opponent twice at the Tata Steel Masters in 2023 and 2024.
