Happy Holi 2025 LIVE Updates: The most-awaited festival of colours, love and joy is here. Holi is one of the most celebrated festival of the Hindu calendar. On the day of Rangwali Holi people play with colours, water guns, balloons, and relish Gujiyas.

It marks the arrival of spring and the triumph of good over evil, along with celebrating love and unity. The Holi 2025 is being celebrated on March 14 this year.

Holi is famously associated with the divine love between Lord Krishna and Radha. As per Hindu mythology, Lord Krishna applied colours on Radha to show affection. It is believed that he was concerned about his dark complexion and often worried whether fair-skinned Radha would accept him. Lord Krishna’s mother, Yashoda playfully suggested that he colour Radha’s face with gulal to erase their differences.

Holi signifies the end of winter and the arrival of spring. It is a celebration of the season’s renewal, symbolising new beginnings, life and hope.

Meanwhile, amid the controversy in Sambhal over Holi celebrations and Friday namaz, the officials have stated that processions for the festival will be permitted across the city till 2:30 pm and after that Friday prayers can be offered. CM Yogi Adityanath further urged people to celebrate the festival of colours in harmony and not to apply colours on someone forcefully.
