Sunaina’s journey from junk to healthy food to beat her fatty liver disease is one of them. The 52-year-old, who has already won hearts online with her impressive transformation, recently shared health tips on eating right.
In a recent Instagram post, Sunaina Roshan shared her journey of switching from junk to healthy food. She revealed going through jaundice, fatty liver disease, and other health problems that led her to take such vital steps. Sunaina shared how she would consume a lot of junk food in the short clip. “Today, I am going to talk about my switch from junk food to healthy eating. I would basically eat everything and anything under the sun that was unhealthy. Pizzas, burgers, you name it, and I would be eating it. There’s nothing healthy that was going into my body,” she said.
However, it was Sunaina’s jaundice that changed her dietary patterns. For context, Sunaina was dealing with fatty liver disease at that time. And as per multiple medical reports, jaundice gets worse in such situations. Explaining what happened next, Sunaina continued,
“What made my journey severe was that I had fatty liver. And we all know that with jaundice, you can’t eat masala, fried.”
Finally, she had to walk on the path to reverse her grade 3 fatty liver disease, and that was to switch from junk to healthy eating. Calling it one of her biggest achievements, she also gave a few health tips to her fans and followers on Instagram. She stated, “For me, to make that switch became much easier and it happened day by day, step by step. My advice to all of you would be don’t let pain or illness change you to making healthier choices. Do not be lazy about it. Do not be fearful. If you can do it or not. Just do it before it’s too late.”
“The path from junk to healthy food was no easy task, but it’s not about perfection, it’s about progress. It’s about taking each day as it comes and focusing on being the best version of yourself. Don’t wait until it’s too late and don’t let illness or fear hold you back. Stay kind to yourself and always remember, You Are Unbreakable,” read the caption alongside Sunaina’s post.
Earlier, in another podcast with HER Health Talks channel, Sunaina spoke about her journey through cervical cancer/lymphoma of the cervix, fatty liver disease and brain tuberculosis. She said, “I think TB is considered a stigma because people connect it with coughing and lungs. TB can impact any part of the body and isn’t contagious in most of these cases. lost a lot of weight, but my game-changer was jaundice… I’ve always had a fatty liver, but recently, I reversed my grade 3 fatty liver to a grade 1. I was super proud, I was crying the whole day.
“I never imagined I’d be on a fitness journey like this, but I’ve decided that I don’t want to be on a wheelchair. I don’t want anybody looking after me when I’m older. Seeing my brother never give up, I’ve seen his dedication personally,” she concluded.
