In the Sanatan Dharma Panchang, all 12 months of the year hold great significance, with each month featuring unique festivals and fasts. November, one of the most auspicious months, has begun, and it is eagerly awaited by Hindus due to important festivals such as Chhath Puja and Dev Uthani Ekadashi.

While the four-day Chhath Mahaparv will commence on November 5, Dev Uthani Ekadashi will fall on November 12. An astrologer from Ayodhya has shared a list of fasts and festivals that fall throughout November.

Ayodhya-based astrologer Pandit Kalki Ram says November is considered especially important in the Vedic calendar. “This month sees several major festivals, including Chhath Puja, Tulsi Vivah, Dev Uthani Ekadashi, and Kaal Bhairav Jayanti, each significant in its own way.”

He adds that according to the Vedic Panchang, the Ekadashi of Shukla Paksha in Kartik month will begin on November 11 at 6:46 pm, ending on November 12 at 4:04 pm. As per the Udaya date, the Dev Uthani Ekadashi fast will be observed on Tuesday, November 12.
