New Amrit Bharat and passenger train services
The newly announced services include: Nagercoil–Mangaluru Amrit Bharat Express, strengthening rail connectivity between southern Tamil Nadu and coastal Karnataka via Kerala.The Nagercoil–Mangaluru Amrit Bharat Express (Train Nos. 16329/16330) runs between Nagercoil Junction and Mangaluru Junction, halting at Thiruvananthapuram Central, Varkala Sivagiri, Kollam Junction, Karunagappalli, Kayamkulam Junction, Mavelikara, Chengannur, Tiruvalla, Changanasseri, Kottayam, Ernakulam Town, Aluva, Thrissur, Shoranur Junction, Tirur, Kozhikode, Thalassery, Kannur and Kasaragod, before reaching its destination in either direction.

A new Thrissur–Guruvayur passenger train, aimed at improving short-distance regional and pilgrimage travel within KeralaRailway officials said these services are designed to offer affordable, non-AC long-distance travel with improved amenities under the Amrit Bharat train category.
