The Bride: A Garden In Motion
For her Haldi, Rashmika wore Anamika Khanna and the choice was nothing short of inspired. A sage green one-shoulder lehenga set, the silhouette was modern and architectural, the fabric layered with intricate net work and hand-embroidered floral motifs in muted blush, ivory, and gold. Her jewellery was temple gold in its most maximalist expression: stacked Kanjivaram-style gold bangles climbing both wrists, ornate chandelier earrings, and a statement maang tikka crowning her centre-parted hair. When the flower petals rained down, cascading in slow, golden waterfalls of marigold and orange, she closed her eyes and smiled, and the resulting image looked less like a photograph and more like a Renaissance painting brought to life.

Vijay Deverakonda, ever the picture of effortless cool, wore a soft blush pink embroidered kurta by Anamika Khanna, the fabric alive with delicate floral embroidery in sage, coral, and ivory.
Paired with crisp ivory churidar bottoms and finished with his now-signature oversized black sunglasses, he managed to look simultaneously like a Bollywood hero and a man simply, sincerely in love. Mementos by ITC Hotels provided a backdrop that no set designer could have bettered. The ceremony took place beneath a canopy of yellow and peach draping, with towering floral installations in sunflower yellow, coral, and dusty pink framing the space.
The pièce de résistance? The couple’s arrival and departure aboard a flower-garlanded wooden boat drifting across a glassy green lake, the garlands in yellow and blush reflected perfectly in the still water below. Rashmika later revealed that the day was as competitive as it was celebratory. “I won all the games with the incredible help of my Team Bride,” she joked, adding that Vijay himself had quietly joined Team Bride for the day.
