Shaheen Afridi’s son Alyaar makes first public stadium appearance | The Express Tribune

Pakistan pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi was seen celebrating with his infant son, Alyaar Afridi, following Lahore Qalandars’ victory over Karachi Kings on Tuesday night.

The match, held at Karachi’s National Bank Arena, saw Lahore defeat Karachi by 65 runs in a high-scoring contest.

After the game, images of Shaheen cradling Alyaar went viral on social media, marking the first time the cricketer’s son has been publicly photographed at a stadium.

Several pictures also showed Karachi Kings fast bowler Hasan Ali playing with the child, while two of former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi’s young daughters were spotted among the spectators.

Previously, Shaheen had shared photos of Alyaar without revealing his face. These latest images, however, show the family enjoying the moment openly at the venue.

Lahore Qalandars had posted a total of 201 for 6 in their 20 overs. In reply, Karachi Kings were bowled out for 136 in the final over.
