Carnell Tate missed the Titans Week 8 contest, but he is still the favorite on the OROY oddsboard after a strong performance against the Browns in Week 7. Tate now has five catches and over 65 yards in back-to-back games. Three weeks ago, in Tennessee’s lone win over the Colts, the rookie caught six passes for 70 yards and his first career touchdown, accounting for more than 70% of Cam Ward’s passing yards.

Jonah Coleman leaped all the way to second on the board after getting action in his third professional game. In the Broncos’ Week 8 win over Kansas City, Coleman had 11 carries for 41 yards and a score, the second touchdown of his young career. He’s averaging 4.5 yards per carry on 10 carries per game in three games. Coleman was +2500 a week ago but with an injury to RJ Harvey and Coleman outsnapping J.K. Dobbins, it could be his backfield the rest of the season in Denver.

He also ranks fifth in receptions (26), fourth in YAC (123), fourth among qualified rookies in yards per reception (15.7) and fourth in receiving yards per game (51.1).

KC Concepcion Jr. ranks second among rookies in receptions (33) and YAC (182), third in targets (49), receiving yards (352) and first downs (15), and fifth in receiving yards per game (44.0). His 67.3% catch rate ranks sixth among rookies with at least 15 targets, while his 5.5 YAC per reception ranks eighth. He has yet to score a receiving touchdown.

We got our first glimpse of Fernando Mendoza a few weeks ago against the Patriots. With the Pats blowing out the Raiders in the fourth quarter, Las Vegas turned to Mendoza for its final drive. He looked sharp, completing six of eight passes for 48 yards. But with Kirk Cousins continuing to play at a high level, Nando may not get his shot until next season.
