Men’s basketball tournament: Odds, spreads and totals for every game of the first round
The 2026 men’s college basketball tournament is nearly upon us, with the field of 68 teams announced and the First Four matchups set to tip off on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Duke, Arizona, Michigan, and defending champion Florida are the four No. 1 seeds, and are heavy favorites to win their first round matchups.
The first action of the week Howard beat UMBC fand Texas outlast NC State to advance to the round of 64 as 16- and 11-seeds, respectively. On Wednesday night, it will be 11-seeds SMU, who opened as significant favorites over regular-season undefeated Miami (OH), while Patriot League champion Lehigh is favorited over the SWAC champion Prairie View A&M in a battle of 16 seeds.
