The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has unveiled the schedule for Pakistan’s cricket team’s international fixtures for the 2024-25 season.
The season includes three Test series and a tri-nation ODI series before the ICC Champions Trophy 2025.
The home season will start with a two-Test series against Bangladesh.
The first Test will be in Rawalpindi from 21 to 25 August, followed by the second Test in Karachi from 30 August to 3 September.
The home international season will conclude with the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, set to finish on 9 March.
In between, Pakistan will host England for three Test matches.
These will be played in Multan from 7 to 11 October, Karachi from 15 to 19 October, and Rawalpindi from 24 to 28 October.
West Indies will tour Pakistan for Tests in Karachi from 16 to 20 January and in Multan from 24 to 28 January.
Additionally, a tri-nation ODI series with New Zealand and South Africa will take place in Multan from 8 to 14 February.
Besides matches in home, Pakistan will tour Australia, Zimbabwe, and South Africa between 4 November and 7 January, playing two Tests, nine ODIs, and nine T20Is.
From August 2024 to March 2025, Pakistan is scheduled to play nine Tests, nine T20Is, and at least 14 ODIs.
The number of ODIs may increase based on their performance in the Champions Trophy and the tri-nation series.
The nine Test matches against Bangladesh, England, South Africa, and West Indies will count towards the ICC World Test Championship 2023-25.
Currently, Pakistan is fifth in the standings with 22 points, having won two out of five Tests in series against Sri Lanka and Australia.
