Tyreek Hill lets youth football camper juke him in friendly drill

Suffice it to say, a switch to defensive back probably isn’t in the cards for Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill.

Hill has been taking the field quite a bit this spring — but not in his usual role as a pass-catcher at Hard Rock Stadium. The 30-year-old has hosted several youth football camps, with a frequent staple event being Hill guarding campers in one-on-one reps.

While the five-time All-Pro doesn’t lack accolades at the receiver position, his offseason résumé on the other side of the line of scrimmage is a little less polished.

First, Hill got lost on a route by a camper in a banana onesie. He was later beaten over the top on a jump ball. The newest addition to the list of Hill’s adversaries? A particularly shifty youth camper.

The encounter started out with a bang, as Hill feigned and pulled away a pre-snap handshake. His young opponent would soon make him pay for the fake-out, making the catch and moving upfield. Hill was able to use his speed to get in position to make the “tackle,” but a sharp cut sent him to the ground. The camper proceeded to race away for the score, in a manner ironically akin to some of the Dolphins receiver’s best highlights.

Hill was quick to make light of the latest of his coverage tribulations, joking on social media that the entire situation had been staged.
