As of Saturday morning, Beryl is about 900 miles east-southeast of Barbados and moving west at about 21 mph. The storm is expected to intensify and become a hurricane within the next 24 hours before reaching the Windward Islands, the southern part of the Lesser Antilles island group, on Monday.
