Lizzo Rocks Up With A Nipple Necklace And An Extra Set Of Hands At amfAR In Cannes

For her performance at amfAR Gala in Cannes, singer Lizzo wore a diamond necklace that was attached to the cone-shaped nipples of her dress.

Lizzo has always put herself out there with the fashion choices she makes and once again, at the amfAR Gala in Cannes, presented by Chopard, where she made a bold statement. The musician wore a head-turning look to the red carpet and even performed in it onstage. The Gala was held at the Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Cap d’Antibes, France.
amfAR, The Foundation for AIDS Research, is one of the world’s leading nonprofit organisations dedicated to the support of AIDS research, HIV prevention, treatment education, and advocacy. The Cannes gala has raised $297 million since the first event in 1993.
Lizzo, the performer of the night, called herself the “lady in blue” while posting about her performance at the charity gala. She wore a cobalt blue gown; she credited to London-based designer Robert Wun for her look in a post on X, formerly Twitter. It featured a sweetheart neckline and a corset top that cinched her in. The skirt of the dress flowed down into a fishtail trail with defined pleats.
What was super interesting about her gown was the extra set of hands that the signer had attached to her arms. It was posed in a delicate manner, and attached to Lizzo’s arms with a pair of sheer blue gloves.
However, the pièce de résistance was the set of conical-shaped nipples and the jump rings attached to it, allowing for a chain to precariously dangle from it.
Lizzo’s dress had a diamond necklace attached to that had 2,000 white diamonds that were grown in a laboratory and totalled 3,161 carats. It was created by London-based designer Anabela Chan. She also wore a layered diamond necklace on its usual place, her neck, along with diamond bracelets on both her wrists.
Her cropped pixie and bangs were styled in a very choppy, messy yet intentional manner. She wore nude lipstick and went heavy on the blush.
From her performance that night, Lizzo reposted a video of her singing “Don’t Make Me Love U,” which was shared by Variety, adding, “SHES A MOTHERF*CKING DIVA.” The song “Don’t Make Me Love U” comes ahead of her forthcoming fifth studio album, which was recently renamed Bitch.
