From a custom tissue saree to a 45-panel shibori ghagra, the Kapoor sisters kept their festive looks elegant and easy.

Khushi Kapoor’s Gem-Encrusted Blouse And Shanaya Kapoor’s Shibori Ghagra Were Perfect Mehendi Picks
Anshula Kapoor’s mehendi ceremony brought together easy festive dressing, handcrafted Indian wear and soft colour palettes, with sisters Khushi Kapoor and Shanaya Kapoor choosing two very different but equally gorgeous looks for the celebration.
Khushi Kapoor opted for a custom look by ITRH. She wore a deep golden tissue saree paired with a gem-encrusted blouse (certainly in vogue this season).
She kept the styling minimal with jewellery from Shri Paramani Jewels, including stud earrings, a stack of bangles and rings. Her makeup stayed fresh and natural, while her straight hair was tied up in a neat bun, adding to the clean and relaxed aesthetic. Khushi also carried a crystal-studded bag from the unreleased ITRH x Jewelsaga Jaipur collection, adding a modern touch to the traditional outfit. In the pictures she shared, the young actress can be seen getting mehendi on her hands, and participating in the chooda ceremony with siblings in tow.
Shanaya Kapoor went for a more handcrafted and detailed ensemble by Re-Ceremonial. She wore the label’s Usha ghagra set in butter yellow, styled with jewellery from Sanzany Jewels, which included a choker, a simple maang tika and haath phool.
The outfit featured the 45-panel Usha ghagra, created using plant-dyed shibori patterns in shades moving from butter yellow to soft pink. According to the brand, the dyes were made using madder root and marigold flowers collected from temple offerings at Mumbai’s Siddhivinayak Temple. The hem of the skirt, stretching over 15 metres, was finished with metal lampi gota detailing.
She paired it with the Amira choli in butter yellow, designed as a structured bustier with a single embroidered shoulder panel aka dupatta. The embroidery used badla and resham work, while the silk organza dupatta featured floral butas made with cutdana and sequins, finished with gota borders. She kept her makeup simple, and opted to keep her tresses open.
Janhvi Kapoor, as visible in the pictures shared by Khushi, wore a soft pink one-shoulder full length gown with soft fringed tassles on one end.
