Ben McKenzie gets candid about returning for possible ‘The O.C.’ revival
The O.C. ended in 2007 after a four-season run. However, one of the series’ stars, Ben McKenzie, is teasing that he is open to a return should a revival be set in motion.
“I don’t know that there have ever been serious talks, but I’d be up for it, sure,” the actor said on KIIS 1065.
He continued, “Yeah, I think so, under the right circumstances. It was a great show. We had a great time. I learnt a lot. I was so young; we were all young.”
McKenzie, who played Ryan Atwood, said, “Let’s make it happen.”
One of his kids, who is 10 years old, totally “loved The O.C.” and so do other young fans.
“I now have kids come up to me, teenagers, and they talk about what a fan they are of the show. ‘You weren’t even alive when it came out,’ said McKenzie. “They watch it with their parents.”
