Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s son Pax is on his way to full recovery after being released from the hospital.
People Magazine published on Sunday, August 4 that the 20-year-old son of the Hollywood stars has been discharged from the ICU, days after he was admitted into the medical facility after an e-bike accident.
“Pax has been released from the ICU,” a source confirmed. “He suffered complex trauma and now begins the long road of recovery and physical therapy.”
“[Jolie and Pax] are deeply grateful for the quick and life-saving action of first responders and the outstanding medical care he received,” they added.
Throughout his hospitalisation, Pax was accompanied by his mother, 49, and was often surrounded by his siblings.
“[Siblings] have been visiting and helping,” the insider asserted. “They are all very close.”
Along with Pax, Jolie shares five other kids with her former husband, Pitt: Maddox, 22, Zahara, 19, Shiloh, 18, and 16-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne.
For the unversed, according to TMZ, Pax was rushed to the medical facility on Monday, July 29, after law enforcement sources told that around 5 p.m. local time Pax got into an accident.
At the time of the accident, he was in a heavy-traffic area on Los Feliz Boulevard and was not wearing a helmet while riding an e-bike.
