Christian Pulisic calls romance reports with Sydney Sweeney ‘made up stories’
Christian Pulisic has finally spoken about his rumoured romance with Sydney Sweeney.
Taking to his Instagram Stories on Sunday, December 28, 2025, the 27-year-old American professional soccer player clearly asked rumour-mongers to stop speculating about his personal life.
Pulisic, who ended this year with a goal for AC Milan in a match against Hellas Verona and celebrated his club’s victory, wrote, “Also please stop with the made up stories about my personal life.”
He went on to add that “[we] need to hold sources accountable it can affect people’s lives.”
The renowned sportsman did not stop there, as he also commented on another social media post which fuelled the rumour. “Fake news guys let’s stop with the silly rumor,” he wrote.
For those unaware, multiple sources claimed this week that Pulisic and Sweeney had been dating each other for a few months.
However, their devoted fans did not believe in the chatter; rather, they questioned the authenticity of the reports.
It is pertinent to mention that Sweeney has ended her engagement to businessman Jonathan Davino, with whom she stayed in a relationship from 2018 to 2025. Now, she is romantically linked to music executive Scooter Braun; however, nothing is yet confirmed.
