Alison Brie has finally talked about how it feels to share the screen with Jared Leto in the forthcoming movie Masters of the Universe.

For those unaware, the upcoming live-action adaptation of the Masters of the Universe franchise has an ensemble casting, including Nicholas Galitzine, Camila Mendes, Idris Elba, Charlotte Riley, Morena Baccarin, James Purefoy, Kristen Wiig, and others.

According to IMDb, the film follows a young man on Earth who “discovers a fabulous secret legacy as the prince of an alien planet, and must recover a magic sword and return home to protect his kingdom.”

Referring to Leto’s role as Skeletor, Brie told PEOPLE magazine, “Jared Leto is Skeletor, which is amazing, and I’m Evil-lyn, his second in command. And it’s the most excited the men in my life have ever been about anything I’ve ever done!”

“I have three nephews and they’re as excited as the middle-aged men. Some of them probably still have their He-man action figures to be honest.”

“It’s fun when you work on a project like this that has touched so many people,” she noted.

The Rental star went on to reveal that people are more “excited’ to talk about the film and they are “coming out of the woodwork,” especially those she has not “heard from in ages.”

“It’s very cute. and I think it has that multi-generational connection because I know all the people who originally grew up on it are excited, and then they have kids and they’re excited to bring them,” Alison Brie admitted.

It is pertinent to mention that Masters of the Universe is set to hit theatres in the United States on June 5, 2026.
