Noah Schnapp reveals he cried during THIS scene from ‘Stranger Things’ vol 2

Noah Schnapp, famously known for his role of Will Byers in Netflix’s Stranger Things, has made a surprising admission.

As during one of the scenes of Stranger Things vol 2, Noah told his family that he’s gay, the actor admitted that he “cried” reading the scene from script.

Speaking with People Magazine, Noah shared, “I was nervous. I was like, ‘How are they going to write that?’ But I read it, and I just cried reading it, and I was like, ‘This is perfect. They did it.’ There’s no notes.”

The actor went on to add that it was “impressive” that the monologue was kept true to his real life and the character both.

Referring to the Duffer brothers, Noah said, “They told me they went to some queer family and friends to help understand how to do it right.”

“I would say I was a little nervous about everyone individually standing up, and I was like, ‘Is that going to be weird?’ But then, in the moment, everything just [felt] so real and it felt so just natural, and it worked,” he admitted.

Noah Schnapp also noted that the journey was similar to the real life. “You don’t just all of a sudden accept yourself and then tell everyone. It’s a process of internal acceptance and then outward. It’s just so beautifully written, and it was really special to get to play that,” he said.

The vol 2 of Stranger Things season 5 was released on Netflix on Christmas day.
