Sarah Ferguson shares emotional Christmas message amid Prince Andrew’s spy scandal

Sarah Ferguson shared a heartfelt Christmas message on December 24, featuring herself alongside the late Queen Elizabeth’s beloved corgis, Muick and Sandy.

The video, seemingly recorded at the Royal Lodge in Windsor, where the Duchess of York resides with her ex-husband Prince Andrew, emphasised gratitude and spreading joy during the festive season.

In the clip, Ferguson, 65, reflected on the importance of kindness, saying, “It’s a time of reflection, and I just want to say thank you. To anyone feeling a little low or sad, take some joy and bubbles from us here. We’re sending you so much love.”

The message comes as the Duchess and Prince Andrew opted to stay away from the royal family’s traditional Christmas gathering at Sandringham this year.

Reports suggest Ferguson played a pivotal role in persuading Andrew to remain at Royal Lodge amid ongoing controversies surrounding his links to an alleged Chinese spy.

Recent court revelations have linked Andrew to Yang Tengbo, an alleged Chinese operative who was reportedly granted access to royal residences, including Buckingham Palace and Windsor Castle, through Andrew’s invitations.

A spokesperson for Andrew clarified that their interactions occurred through official channels and ceased when concerns arose.

Despite divorcing in 1996, Sarah and Andrew maintain an amicable relationship, continuing to live together at Royal Lodge while navigating the fallout from recent scandals.
