Sofia Vergara makes shocking confession about Joe Manganiello tattoo
Sofia Vergara has recently explained how she gave new meaning to a tattoo earlier dedicated to her former husband Joe Manganiello.
During an appearance on the latest episode of The Talk on May 31, the Modern Family alum revealed she had inked two tattoos on each of her wrists, one honouring her late brother and the other, a “J” which she got for Joe.
Sofia, who parted ways from Joe in July 2023 after seven years of marriage, said, “This was Joe Manganiello’s initial, but now he’s gone so…”
The actress confessed that the situation actually worked in her favour.
“How lucky can I be that the guy that I’m going out [with] has the same initial,” she remarked in reference to her new boyfriend, orthopedic surgeon Justin Saliman.
Sofia added she planned to “recycle” the tattoo.
In another interview with PEOPLE for her Beautiful Issue cover story, Sofia opened up about what she wanted in a new relationship.
“Health. Money. Fun. With kids. That’s it,” stated the 51-year-old.
Sofia also told the outlet that she didn’t plan for more kids, saying, “There’s things in life that might sound like good ideas, but they’re not.”
“I was a mother already. I know what it means to be a good mother or to try to be the best mother that you can, and that takes a lot of sacrifices, takes a lot of energy,” she added.
