Dave Kendall, who helped introduce a generation of MTV viewers to alternative music as the creator and host of “120 Minutes,” has died.
Matt Pinfield, one of several presenters who succeeded Mr. Kendall as host of the influential late-night show, announced his death in a post on social media. Additional information, including on Mr. Kendall’s age, was not immediately available.
