If you’re looking for a crash course on some of the best jazz musicians in the region, the D.C. Jazz Festival is the place to be.
The festival, now in its 22nd year, is the city’s biggest celebration of jazz, bringing a kaleidoscopic range of local, national and international acts to the Wharf and other venues around town over five days. This year’s headliners include Grammy-winning musician Dee Dee Bridgewater, singer Kurt Elling and acclaimed saxophonist Joshua Redman.
