Kim Kardashian and Lewis Hamilton confirm romance with intimate Instagram post
Kim Kardashian has seemingly confirmed her romance with Lewis Hamilton, sharing a series of intimate moments on Instagram.
The American reality television personality and businesswoman, 45, and the British Formula 1 driver, 41, were first linked in February after being spotted together at a hotel in the Cotswolds.
In a recent carousel of photos and videos, captioned simply “lately”, Kardashian offered a glimpse into their burgeoning relationship. Among the highlights was a video clip featuring herself and Hamilton cycling alongside a New York river on a sunny day.
While Hamilton held the camera, recording them both with a smile, Kardashian was initially beaming before becoming distracted. The footage then shows her veering off the path, looking panicked, before abruptly cutting out.
One still photograph from the collection perfectly captured the moment of impending disaster, showing Kardashian with her mouth wide open in surprise as she realised she was about to fall. Hamilton, meanwhile, remained oblivious in front of her, still smiling for the camera.
Beyond the cycling adventure, the Instagram round-up also featured Kardashian walking towards a private jet, posing in a bikini within a sauna, and sharing selfies with various family members, including her mother Kris Jenner, grandmother Mary Jo “MJ” Campbell, and sisters Khloe Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, and Kylie Jenner.
In recent months, the pair have been seen together at high-profile events, including the Super Bowl, a trip to Japan, and the Coachella music and arts festival in California.
Their acquaintance dates back to at least 2014, when they were photographed at the GQ Men of the Year awards alongside their respective partners at the time, Kanye West and Nicole Scherzinger.
Kardashian’s marriage to West ended in divorce in 2022, and she was subsequently linked to comedian Pete Davidson.
Hamilton, who split from his ex in 2015, revealed last year that he has not had a long-term relationship in nearly a decade.
He explained to Belgian TV outlet RTBF how his career had taken precedence: “I look at the other drivers, and I wonder how they’re doing it. Some are having kids, some married, most of them have girlfriends. I really focused in these last … particularly these last 10 years, get everything I can out of my performance. Then, when I retire, I can do whatever I want.”
Kardashian also discussed her single status in an episode of her reality show, The Kardashians, which aired last November.
She admitted: “You get really comfortable being single and the thought of you sharing a bed or your TV shows with someone else becomes less and less appealing because you get set in your ways.”
She added, “It’s OK to close down a bit and focus on the things that I want in life,” but concluded by stating she was “the biggest hopeless romantic” and that “when the right person comes along I’ll be so ready and everything will be fine.”
