Malvan Fish Curry

This dish is characterized by its rich coconut-based gravy, a blend of spices like red chilies, coriander, and cumin, and the use of kokum which gives it a tangy flavour. The curry is typically made with firm white fish like pomfret or surmai.

Malvani Crab Curry

This fiery dish is a cornerstone of Malvani cuisine. It’s a rich, coconut-based curry brimming with spices like red chili powder, turmeric, and ginger-garlic paste. The crab meat, succulent and flavourful, absorbs the spicy gravy perfectly.

Prawn Masala

A fragrant and intensely flavourful dish, the Malvani Prawn Masala features succulent prawns cooked in a spicy and aromatic gravy. The use of coconut milk, kokum, and a blend of traditional Indian spices creates a unique and unforgettable taste.

Kombdi Vade

Chicken and lentil dumplings are carefully crafted into bite-sized balls and then golden-fried to perfection. The result is a crispy exterior that gives way to a flavourful and juicy interior.

Bharli Vangi

This vegetarian dish showcases the versatility of eggplant. Eggplants are meticulously stuffed with a spicy and aromatic mixture of vegetables, herbs, and spices. The stuffed eggplants are then roasted or baked, resulting in a smoky and flavourful treat.
