P Diddy, whose real name is Sean Combs, made a surprising social media comeback while sitting in jail on multiple federal sex crimes charges. Taking to Instagram, the rapper-turned-mogul posted a sweet birthday tribute for his seventh and youngest child, Love Sean Combs – whom he shares with Dana Tran.

Diddy shares first post since arrest

Despite being locked up in New York City jail, Diddy is committed to his dad duties. The now-disgraced rapper broke his social media silence on Tuesday (October 15) to wish his daughter Love Sean Combs on her birthday.

The sweet post featured photos of Love, who turned 2, gorging on a delicious cake in a princess style while the others featured throwback moments with her dad before his arrest. “Happy Birthday to you! Happy Birthday to you! Happy Birthday baby Love! Happy Birthday to you!! Happy Birthday @loveseancombs Daddy loves you,” the post was captioned.

Comments under the Instagram post are turned off. It’s unclear if Diddy had access to his phone or his team shared the post. Diddy and Dana welcomed Love – the youngest of his seven children- in 2022. Diddy is also dad to son Quincy Brown, 33, son Justin Combs, 30, son Christian “King” Combs, 26, daughter Chance Combs, 18, and twin daughters Jessie and D’Lila Combs, 17.

More about Diddy-Tran’s relationship

Diddy, 54, has never confirmed having a relationship with Tran. Earlier this year, rumours were rife that Diddy had put a ring on it following the birth of their daughter, but there has been no confirmation of the same. Tran has not publicly addressed Diddy’s mounting legal woes. However, in a show of subtle support earlier last month, she was seen wearing a ring that read “Love.” It is worth noting that back in 2017, Diddy rebranded himself as “Love” and “Brother Love”.

About P Diddy’s arrest

Diddy was arrested on September 16 on charges of racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking and transportation to engage in prostitution, to which he pleaded not guilty. He has been denied bail twice.

In a fresh wave of allegations, at least half a dozen new accusers, including a minor, have come forward to accuse him of sexual assault. The lawsuits were all filed anonymously under the pseudonyms John Doe and Jane Doe plaintiffs in federal court in the Southern District of New York.
