Sanya Malhotra is riding high after the launch of her new film, Toaster, which released this week. The actor has been promoting her film while also showcasing her brand of humour.
She took to Instagram recently and shared a series of photos of herself. Dressed super casually, in a white shirt with khaki pants, one might not give her a second look. However, the actor knows just how to capture her audience’s attention.
The actor wore a crisp white shirt, but what made it absolutely adorable were the multi-coloured, tiny cat faces that were painted on it. She took things a step further when she also added a huge ring with a white background and a cat face painted on it.
Sanya Malhotra’s love for cats is not unknown. She is a cat mom to a Persian cat named Laila, whom she adopted in 2021-2022 with help from her Dangal co-star Fatima Sana Shaikh. She often shares cute little glimpses of her pet on social media and has fully embraced her role as a pet parent.
Taking her love for furry creatures to the next level, Sanya Malhotra paired her white shirt with a pair of wide-legged khaki pants. But what makes this so quirky is that it has a range of animals and floral motifs running down the length of her pant leg.

The story is about a stingy man who tries to get back a toaster he gave as a wedding gift after the wedding is cancelled.
Keeping in the theme of weird yet playful, Sanya Malhotra posed with a piece of toast and even wore literal ‘toaster’ earrings. The actor further accessorises with a silver bracelet on one hand, a silver and white choker chain and a sleek silver watch on the other. She also wore an orange flower ring on her opposite hand.
Sanya Malhotra completes 10 years in the industry
Actor Sanya Malhotra started her career in Hindi films with ‘Dangal’ in 2016 and is completing a decade in the industry. Talking about her journey so far, she told PTI, “Ten years… it’s surreal. It’s been amazing, very fulfilling, and I am so grateful for the opportunities I’ve had.”
The actor went on to add that she is very thankful for all the love her newest movie, Toaster, has been receiving since it was released on an OTT platform this week. However, she doesn’t feel pressured by it. “I just hope all my other films and projects get the same kind of love and respect,” she shared.
