The washrooms in the Vande Bharat Sleeper train have been made state-of-the-art similar to the toilets in airplanes. Reportedly, bio-vacuum toilets have been installed. The technology efficiently and hygienically manages human waste. All taps, flushes and soap dispensers work in a touch free (sensor) manner. The trains also have an anti-collision system ‘Kavach’ that automatically applies the brakes to prevent accidents if two trains come face to face on the same track. – Personal Reading Lights: Each berth has its own reading lights. You can read books without disturbing fellow passengers.
– Charging Points: USB charging ports as well as advanced Type-C ports have been provided at every seat for mobiles and laptops.
– Mini Pantry: Mini pantry units have been allocated in each coach to provide hot food and beverages to passengers.
– Jerk-free travel: Special ‘couplers’ and suspension systems have been used to ensure that passengers do not experience any jerks when the train starts or stops. (File Photo)
