Extreme weight loss, gaining the pounds for a role, bouncing back after pregnancy or showing off their washboard abs – celebrities are constantly at their peak fitness. With perfectly done makeup, glamorous hair and outfits that somehow always scream chic couture, they always look like they’ve stepped out of the glossy pages of the magazine or are heading into a photoshoot. Even their post-gym pictures look beautifully sweaty instead of being a glorious mess.

So, in an age where celebrity transformations often seem magical, nutritionist and health coach Priyanka T is revealing the reality behind the scenes.

On December 13, the health and mind coach posted a video on her Instagram page addressing a common fan query: ‘Why do stars like Katrina Kaif and Taapsee Pannu spend so much on their diets, and can an average person achieve the same level of fitness?’

High cost, high reward?

Priyanka explains that while the celebrities invest a significant amount into looking so good, the methods they use to achieve this are pretty accessible. For top-tier actors, maintaining their image and appearance is not just a personal preference but a professional necessity.

She elaborates that these celebrities invest in a comprehensive support system that takes care of every detail for them. Every aspect of their life, including their diet, is managed and measured. Every meal is meticulously planned based on specific macros (protein, carbs, and fats), portion sizes, and precise timings. This team effort ensures that even with a demanding filming schedule, their diet remains consistent.

In her caption, Priyanka noted: “Celebrities spend substantial amounts on their diets for a reason—it keeps them looking young, fit, and camera-ready. But their diet isn’t magical. It’s all about structure: portion control, timing, macros, and consistency. And you don’t need a chef or a huge budget to achieve similar results. Working professionals, moms, and students can also transform with simple, realistic habits.”

In the video, Priyanka addresses the question: “Why do celebrities like Taapsee Pannu, Katrina Kaif, and Mouni Roy invest so heavily in their diets? Is it really worth it? Yes, absolutely. Their investment in their diets is why they appear so youthful. Their diet plans are meticulously managed by their chefs, nutritionists, and coaches, with portions, timings, and macros all carefully calculated. It’s part of their profession to look fit, energetic, and young on screen.”

What about the average individual?

The encouraging news for the common person who also dreams of achieving their perfect look but thinks it is impossible due to high costs and no supporting team is that this is possible to attain. What’s even better is that you don’t need a private chef or personal trainers either. Priyanka emphasises that the core principles of a celebrity diet are not hidden in expensive superfoods but in structure.

She reassured, “What about people like us—working professionals, moms, and students? We don’t have chefs or the budget, and we certainly don’t have the time to work out all day. So, can we achieve a celebrity-level transformation? Absolutely, and without fancy food or costly plans.”
