Matt Damon reveals rare side of Christopher Nolan he witnessed on ‘The Odyssey’ set

Matt Damon has spoken about the rare moment he saw director Christopher Nolan lose his temper on the set of The Odyssey.

The 55-year-old actor, who plays Odysseus in Christopher’s epic, shared some on-set moments during a promotional interview.

Matt said he was surprised to see the Oscar-winning director get angry, as he had never seen Christopher like that before.

“There was a moment where our first assistant director… gave background artists the opposite direction of what Chris wanted… Chris Just went, “Come on man, this is hard,” recalled the Oppenheimer star.

“I’d never heard our leader admit it out loud… because part of it is that he makes it look like it’s not hard. That is a form of leadership,” he added.

Directed by Christopher, The Odyssey has just hit theaters. Alongside Matt, the film also features Anne Hathaway, Tom Holland, Zendaya, and Robert Pattinson.

With a massive production budget of $250 million, The Odyssey is one of the most expensive films of Christopher’s career.

It is worth mentioning here that Christopher is among the great Hollywood directors of his generation.

He’s best known for his directorial work on films like The Dark Knight, Oppenheimer, Interstellar, The Prestige, Dunkirk, and Inception.
