King Charles is also “clear” there will be no change to Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s status

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have apparently sent a strong message to future king Prince William regarding their work following their return to Britain after years.

The royal couple stepped down as senior royals back in 2020 and moved to US.

On August 26, Meghan and Harry returned to Britain with their two children Archie and Lilibet, who are set to start their school this week in UK.

However, Prince William is reportedly furious at the return of the royal couple to Britain.

The Prince of Wales is not on speaking terms with Harry and Meghan after their severe criticism to the Firm particularly his wife Kate Middleton.

The Times has also reported, citing the sources close to King Charles that while the monarch “naturally welcomes” the opportunity to see more of the Sussexes “in a private and personal capacity”, he is “clear” there will be no change to their status as private individuals and non-working members of the royal family.

However, those close to Meghan and Harry say they accept that their return to the UK will not herald a return to events like Trooping the Colour or the National Service of Remembrance at the Cenotaph.

But sources close to Harry, who served two tours of Afghanistan during a ten-year military career, say he may choose to publicly mark Remembrance Sunday with one of his military charities.

The friend of the Duke says, “He will do whatever they want him to do.”
