Bella Hadid just roped in a major rodeo honour, and her cowboy boyfriend, Adan Banuelos, couldn’t be prouder.
The 28-year-old supermodel and equestrian was named the National Cutting Horse Association’s (NCHA) 2024 Limited Age Event Rookie of the Year on December 5, an honour recognising her as the highest-earning amateur in the sport’s Limited Aged Events.
Hadid entered the cutting horse community just over a year ago, but she’s already making her mark. She clinched the title after becoming the NCHA Metallic Cat World Championship Futurity Limited Amateur Reserve Champion aboard Metallic Hardball, her equine partner.
Her victory prompted Banuelos to gush on Instagram: “To say we’re proud would be an understatement. @bellahadid…First year out, Futurity Limited Am Reserve Champ [Check] Amateur Rookie Of The Year [Check].”
NCHA Executive Director Jay Winborn also praised Hadid’s dedication: “Her hard work in and out of the show pen is evident. We look forward to seeing her talent and passion for the sport continue to grow.”
Hadid has been leaning into her Texas lifestyle since moving there with Banuelos, whom she gushed over in an April interview with Allure. The couple was first spotted together in Fort Worth in late 2023.
