Jim Carrey has opened about the chances of his popular 1994 comedy film The Mask.
Carrey, in his crazy fantasy film, portrays the role of a bank clerk, who transforms into a villainous version of him the moment he wears his green coloured mask.
The wild film turned out to be a massive hit and is known as one of Jim’s notable works of all times.
While talking about the possibility of a sequel, the 62-year-old comedian stated that he has no interest in revisiting the character, however, he would step into his shoes only if there is a ‘right idea’.
Carrey, made it clear, that he would never want to do a character like Mask just for the sake of monetary gain.
In conversation with the ComicBook.com, the Dumb & Dumber actor added: “Oh gosh, you know, it has to be the right idea. If somebody had the right idea, I guess… It’s not really about the money.”
“I joke about the money… But I never know. You can’t be definite about these things. I said I’d like to retire, but I think I was talking more about power-resting.
He continued: “Because as soon as a good idea comes your way, or a group of people you really enjoyed working with and stuff, it just – things tend to change.
The Mask also features Cameron Diaz and Peter Greene in pivotal roles.
