‘Devil Wears Prada 2’ dropped funniest surprise yet

The Devil Wears Prada is set for digital and streaming platforms, where it also features a gag reel proving that even Meryl Streep has her off-camera oops moments.

On Tuesday, People Magazine shared that the sequel will begin streaming on Disney+ and Hulu on July 29, after arriving digitally on June 30 and on physical release on July 28.

The outlet further revealed that the home release will also include the bloopers, behind the scenes footage and bonus featurettes exploring the making of the sequel.

They highlighted a gag reel that showed Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci laughing through on-set mishap. A standout blooper showed Streep stumbling in her seat, offering fans a rare glimpse of the Oscar winner breaking the polished image of Miranda Priestly.

On the other hand, fans will also get a closer look at the film’s New York and Italy shoots, its fashion evolution and a cameo by NBA star Karl-Anthony Towns, who appears in one of the gag reel’s funniest moments.

The Devil Wears Prada 2 picks up years after the original 2006 film, with Andy Sachs returning to Runway magazine as a features editor and once again crossing paths with the formidable Miranda Priestly.

It is pertinent to mention that the release also includes a music video for Lady Gaga and Doechii’s original song Runway.
