Taylor Swift has dropped a special surprise for fans!

On Tuesday, the singer released the official music video for her song Elizabeth Taylor.

Offering a visually rich tribute to the Hollywood icon Elizabeth Taylor, Swift did not appear on screen herself but opted for a montage-style visual of Taylor’s most iconic appearances.

The music video includes moments from Taylor’s classics such as Cleopatra, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, and Father of the Bride.

Currently, the music video is available exclusively on premium platforms like Apple Music and Spotify Premium.

The track Elizabeth Taylor was featured on Taylor Swift’s album The Life of a Showgirl. It explores themes of fame, identity, and public scrutiny through the lens of the late icon’s life.

The lyrics of the track goes like: “I’d cry my eyes violet/Elizabeth Taylor/Tell me for real/Do you think it’s forever?/Been number one but I never had two/And I can’t have fun if I can’t have…/Be my NY when Hollywood hates me/You’re only as hot as your last hit, baby/I been number one but I never had two/And I can’t have fun if I can’t have… you.

The legendary actress passed away on March 23, 2011 at the age of 79 due to congestive heart failure.
