A nationwide recall has been issued for “Boner Bears” chocolate syrup containing an undeclared Viagra ingredient.

Texas-based Lockout Supplements recalled the sexual enhancement product over concerns that sildenafil, the active ingredient in the erectile dysfunction drug Viagra, was contained in the product but not listed on its label.

While Viagra is approved by the Food and Drug Administration, it can only be used under the supervision of a licensed health care professional.

Sildenafil could interact with nitrates found in prescription drugs that people with diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, or heart disease might be taking, the company’s recall announcement said.

Lockout Supplements warned the undeclared ingredient “may lower blood pressure to dangerous levels.” But the company has not received any reports of adverse effects from the recall product as of Wednesday.

The recall covers all lots of the syrup from January 1, 2025, to February 13, 2026. The product comes in a 15-gram single-dose plastic tube labeled for use by those 18 years and older.

“Boner Bears” chocolate syrup was sold on the Lockout Supplements website. The company notified its customers of the recall on its blog attached to the site.

Customers who bought the erotic syrup are advised to stop using it and contact their doctor if they experience any problems that may be related to the recall. Customers can throw out the recalled product or return it and request a full refund.

The Independent has reached out to Lockout Supplement for comment.

The company issued the recall after an FDA laboratory analysis confirmed ”Boner Bears” chocolate syrup and “Boner Bears” chocolate bars sold on elyxr.com contained undeclared sildenafil. The agency advised Americans not to buy or use the potentially “harmful” products.

Lockout Supplements has a disclaimer on its site that the products it sells have not been evaluated by the FDA.

The FDA has yet to share a recall of the “Boner Bears” chocolate bars.
