Ingredients For Paneer Samosa

For The dough

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour (maida)
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • A pinch of salt
  • Water (as needed)

For The stuffing

  • 200 grams paneer (grated)
  • 1 green chilli (finely chopped)
  • 1 teaspoon ginger paste
  • 2 tablespoons fresh coriander (finely chopped)
  • ½ teaspoon red chilli powder
  • ½ teaspoon garam masala
  • Salt to taste
  • A little lemon juice
  • Oil for frying

Step-by-Step Recipe

Prepare the dough

  • In a mixing bowl, add flour, salt, and oil. Mix well with your hands.
  • Gradually add water and knead into a firm dough.
  • Cover with a damp cloth and let it rest for 20 minutes.

Prepare the stuffing

In a bowl, mix grated paneer, chopped green chilli, ginger paste, coriander, red chilli powder, garam masala, salt, and lemon juice. Mix well and your stuffing is ready.

Assemble The samosas

  • Divide the dough into small balls.
  • Roll each ball into an oval shape and cut it in half.
  • Take one half, apply water on the edges, and fold it into a cone shape.
  • Fill the cone with the paneer mixture and seal the top.
  • Repeat with the rest of the dough and stuffing.

Fry The samosas

  • Heat oil in a deep pan over medium flame.
  • Fry the samosas until they are golden brown and crispy.
  • Remove and place them on kitchen paper to drain excess oil.
