Nita Ambani’s handwoven saree steals the show at DAIS’ Annual Day | – Times of India
The annual day function of Dhirubhai Ambani International School (DAIS) has been making waves on social media since December 19, 2024, with numerous pictures and videos capturing attention. The founder of the school, Mrs. Nita Ambani, was a prominent figure at the event, showcasing her elegance in a stunning maroon and golden saree. Renowned makeup artist Mickey Contractor took to Instagram to share Nita’s graceful look, posting beautiful pictures of the businesswoman and captioning them, “Nita Ambani in one more exquisite woven saree. An ode to Indian craftsmanship ❤️.”
During the event, Nita Ambani was seen interacting with the paparazzi in a lighthearted manner, offering them food. She asked, “Khana bheju kya?” and when they responded with “hanji,” she replied, “Acha bhejti hu” and instructed her staff to send food packets to the photographers. She further added, “Abhi joh bache logo ka khana hai wahi bhejti hu,” showing her thoughtful and caring nature before thanking the paps and leaving the venue.
As the chairperson and founder of DAIS and Nita Mukesh Ambani Junior School (NMAJS), Nita Ambani also addressed the gathering in her speech, expressing heartfelt gratitude to the school’s entire support staff. She acknowledged the crucial role played by the teachers, staff, and other team members, including the bus staff, housekeeping, canteen personnel, nurses, and security teams, who she said, “are always there with a smile, welcoming and looking after our children.”
The event also attracted a star-studded crowd, with several Bollywood celebrities gracing the occasion. Shah Rukh Khan attended with his wife Gauri Khan and daughter Suhana Khan to cheer for their youngest son, AbRam. Kareena Kapoor Khan was present with her husband, Saif Ali Khan, and their children, Taimur Ali Khan and Jeh Ali Khan, who performed on stage. Aishwarya Rai was spotted with her husband, Abhishek Bachchan, and father-in-law Amitabh Bachchan, who were there to support their daughter Aaradhya, who also performed alongside AbRam. Shahid Kapoor was seen attending the event as well, seated behind Kareena.
