Exuding vintage elegance through a contemporary lens on the Gold Gala 2026 red carpet, Priyanka was styled in a 20-year-old chikankari saree reimagined into a contemporary couture gown, styled by celebrity stylist Ami Patel.
Decoding Priyanka Chopra Jonas’ Amit Aggarwal Couture Masterpiece
Known for celebrating her roots not just in her body of work but also in her fashion choices, Priyanka looked divine in Amit Aggarwal couture.
Crafted over six weeks, the ensemble revives a two-decade old chikankari saree reimagined into a contemporary gown. The intricate tonal embroidery realised in serene white was further enhanced with glass beads adding depth to the monochrome palette. Every element in Priyanka’s Gold Gala 2026 look celebrated her love for heritage and timeless style.
Amit Aggarwal’s sculptural brilliance was met with Priyanka’s impeccable style. The one-shoulder gown came with a slit and an intricately designed pallu. Bringing drape drama to her Gold Gala 2026 look, Priyanka looked like a dream in the craft-led silhouette.

Back in 2023, Priyanka graced the opening ceremony of NMACC in Mumbai, where she adorned a vintage Banarasi brocade saree made using silver threads and gold electroplating on khadi silk and paired it with a signature sequin sheet holographic bustier.
The collaboration has been a great celebration of India’s craft, culture and couture through a modern lens that definitely turned heads on the red carpet.
