Demi Lovato makes surprising remarks about her Madison Square Garden show

Demi Lovato has shared how she felt while performing her first-ever headlining show at New York City’s Madison Square Garden.

For those unaware, the 33-year-old American singer and songwriter, who is currently on her It’s Not That Deep Tour, performed at a sold-out show at Madison Square Garden.

While chatting with PEOPLE magazine about her memorable concert, she said, “It felt amazing, that feeling up there knowing that the place was sold out with fans who have stuck by my side through everything and shown me so much love and support over so many years. It just felt incredible.”

When she was asked to share what it took her to prepare for such a remarkable performance, Lovato replied, “I do a little warm up, like a physical warm up, and then I warm up my voice. I obviously get ready in hair and makeup, and I use my Therabreath.”

She went on to admit that she cannot express in words how she feels about the MSG show and declare her “love” for her fans because it would not be possible “without them.”

The Neon Lights songstress’ performance was filled with surprises as her husband Jordan “Jutes” Lutes delivered their first-ever live performance while Joanna “JoJo” Levesque made a guest appearance to sing a duet of Too Little Too Late.

It is pertinent to mention that Demi Lovato and Jutes sang Iris by Goo Goo Dolls as well as the show also included many of her hit songs, such as Cool for the Summer, Heart Attack, Give Your Heart, and some tracks from her latest album It’s Not That Deep.
